JSON Tools
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how JSON Tools, developed by Mohammed Aadhil, handles information when you use the app on Android or iOS.
Data collection
JSON Tools does not collect personal or sensitive user data for transmission to the developer or a developer-operated server. This includes:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics
- Crash analytics
- Advertising identifiers
- Files or documents opened in the app
- JSON, XML, YAML, CSV, or other text content edited in the app
Files and text you choose to work with are accessed and used locally as described below. Information you voluntarily send by email is handled separately under Support correspondence.
Data access and local file processing
Any files, text, or data you open, edit, format, validate, convert, or analyze in JSON Tools are processed locally on your device.
The app accesses the content you open or enter to carry out these actions, even if that content contains personal or sensitive information. File access is subject to the permissions and file access controls provided by Android or iOS. You can manage permissions in your device settings.
Your content is not uploaded to our servers because the app does not use any server-side processing for these features.
No account required
JSON Tools does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.
There is no JSON Tools account or associated account data to delete.
No cloud sync
JSON Tools does not sync your files or app data to any cloud service controlled by us.
If you manually save files to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or another storage provider using system file features on Android or iOS, that action is handled by your device and the selected storage provider.
No third-party tracking
JSON Tools does not include third-party advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or analytics SDKs.
Secure data handling
File processing takes place on your device, without uploading your content to a developer-operated server or a remote processing service. Access to locally stored files is governed by Android or iOS security and file access controls.
Keep your device and operating system secure, and choose carefully where you save or send sensitive content. Email and external storage services have their own security practices; please do not send passwords, authentication tokens, or confidential files in a support request.
Data retention and deletion
The developer does not retain copies of files or text processed locally in JSON Tools. Files you save remain in the location you choose until you delete them.
Delete saved files using your device’s file manager or the storage provider where you saved them. To remove app-private local data, use Android’s clear-storage controls or delete the app and its data on iOS. Offloading an app on iOS can retain its data. Removing app data does not delete files saved outside the app’s private storage.
Copies in cloud storage, backups, recently deleted folders, or other apps must be removed separately through the relevant device settings or provider. The developer cannot access or remotely delete content stored only on your device or with a provider you choose.
Support correspondence
If you contact Mohammed Aadhil at [email protected], we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and resolve the issue. Email service providers process and store the correspondence to deliver this service.
Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing the same address; any legally required retention will be explained in response to your request.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
